The development of self-driving cars is considered the most progressive today. Many manufacturers are introducing more and more systems to improve passenger comfort and maximum safety. Most of the progress has come from Chevrolet, which is testing the industry.

The other day, the first mass batch of unmanned Chevrolet Bolt, in the amount of 130 copies, rolled off the assembly line of the Orion plant in Michigan. The self-driving car is based on the well-proven electric car Chevrolet Bolt EV. These cars will join the previously released 50 models. The tests will take place in the states of Warren, Detroit, Scottsdale, Arizona and San Francisco. According to the manufacturer, this expansion of the fleet of self-driving cars Chevrolet Bolt will not only increase test results, but also speed up the process of refinement. Self-driving cars will meet all of the same requirements as the rest of Chevrolet's vehicles. If the tests of unmanned Chevy Bolt are successful, and show the most positive results, then it is planned to release a mass series of unmanned taxis.

The power of such a unit is 200 hp, the maximum speed of the Chevrolet Bolt EV electric car is 150 km / h, and one full charge is enough for 320 km. Fully discharged batteries can be charged in a couple of hours, in which case they will be enough for 80 km of run, and with the help of the quick charging system you will have enough 30 minutes for 145 km of run.
